“The Boys of Baraka” – DVD (it was a toss up between this and Hoop Dreams) watched it straight through, then with the directors’ commentary turned on.  Good insights.

"Heartbreaking" does not even come close to describe this film.  I don't know what's more disheartening, the stories in this film, or the fact there are so many heartbreaking stories in Baltimore, in Maryland, in the country, and in the world.  Whatever you do, don't Google "Boys of Baraka updates."  I mean it, don't do it!
