Overall
good practice. Worked on new song “Word
of God Speak.” Worked with Jon on the
intro to “Lord I Lift Your Name on High” and listened for Kendall’s insights on
splitting the parts for the rest of the songs.
Kendall is a great teacher and every practice with him is time in the “woodshed.” I always get a kick when I pass the Frank
Zappa sign on the way home. Seeing that
sign after practice always inspires me to go home and get cracking on the
Sunday set list.
