Two Days – It’s The Final Countdown

My Top Ten Favorite Things of the Last 100 Days
#3 – The Last 100 Days

It is amazing these 100 days are nearly at an end.  Like many new things, I had some initial trepidation about this experiment.  I was very enthusiastic in the beginning, but once the enormity of the task hit me, I had second thoughts.  I am glad I stuck with it.  Many of the posts, especially when I was travelling or during the holidays, were hard to get out and I had to stretch my technology improvisation skills.  Still, it was worth it.  Putting out one post after another, getting my rhythm as well as refining the format and content of the blog along the way made was the key to getting this done.

T-64 Days and Counting Down to the End of 2011

2011 – Last 100 Days
Countdown
T-64 Days To Go
28 October 2011

Goal:  1 hour per day working on the film
Details:
Re-Digitized 23 October 2009  tapes of artwork by Lester Yocum and a short interview with the artist.  There were a few dropped frames in yesterday’s capture and some audio artifacts.  Re-booted the machine and cleaned the heads
Also re-digitized a 30 October 2008 footage.  Earlier capture had dropped frames.
If you see the video I did for the book “A Reluctant Malachi,”(also in the box to the right)  you can see Les’ work on that painting of the Apostles in the middle of the video.  It is also the thumbnail for the video.  Les believed enough in the project to license some of his fantastic artwork for use in the movie.
