Veteran’s
Day
I spent time today talking to an old friend. We thanked each other for our service (stationed
together in the Air Force) then pondered what this next crop of war veterans means
for our society. We contrasted America’s
reaction to today’s veterans as opposed to Viet Nam veterans. ‘Nam veterans got a less than welcoming
reception and as those warriors were coming home, guys like my friend and I were
going into the service. In the course of
basic training, technical schools and early assignments, we had a chance to
interact with them and we are better citizens for the exposure. In their way, they tolerated and passed a
baton to us. While we missed any hot
wars by a few years, we brushed shoulders with men and women who would push on
past us in the service and carry the baton to Iraq, Afghanistan and some, to
Iraq again. We thank you, salute your
service and call you comrades in arms with pride.

Viking Warrior Hypothesis
Where
your goal number of sets for a workout = G
And
w = number of Viking Warrior Conditioning workouts per week
And
t = total number of sets per week you’ll need to do to achieve G in 4 weeks
Then 2G/w = t (round UP)
(p.s.: We’ll
see. My goal is 25 sets. Talk to me in a
month.)
